*****Disclaimer - I am in no way affiliated with Aldi***** Hello again! and welcome to my blog, or welcome back to my returning readers! For the next instalment I have decided to try various instant snacks that make a quick and easy lunch, and choose which tastes better, Enjoy! Cup Shotz (37p) vs Mug Shot (80p) I was pleasantly surprised with the results of this test, with Aldi's 'Cup Shotz' in a chicken flavour actually delivering fairly well in comparison to the Snack Noodle. I wouldn't say it was miles better than the Mug Shot, but the two are extremely extremely similar in flavour and texture. This was without a doubt the best result for Aldi in this blog (spoiler, sorry), with the Mug Shot being well and truly mugged off by Aldi's replica.  Pasta & Sauce (39p) vs Pasta 'n' Sauce (75p) Even although the packaging of these two products are extremely similar, the flavour is a different story altogether. Battle of the Biscuits

*****Disclaimer - I am in no way affiliated with Aldi***** Hello! Back with yet again another blog post, many thanks to my returning viewers, and welcome to those who are new! Butter Biscuits vs Choco Leibniz The results of this comparison were similar to the Seal Bars vs Penguins test, with Aldi's 'butter biscuits' tasting exactly the same as Bahlsen's Choco Leibniz. I usually get sick of Choco Leibniz before I can finish the pack, but I did not have this issue with Aldi's  butter biscuits, (if you are r...

*****Disclaimer - I am in no way affiliated with Aldi***** Hi! My name is Scott, and welcome to the first blog post of the series! I am currently studying marketing, and have been tasked with creating my own blog, so I have decided to put Aldi's versions of name brands to the test, and share my experience.  For years now, Aldi have become well-known for not only their cheap prices, but also their alternative versions of name brand products. I have never been what some might call an “Aldi person”, however, I have decided to try and covert myself by comparing various different Aldi products to the product they are apparently replicating, and then decide whether or not the difference in product is worth the difference in price.  For the first post, I have decided to compare different chocolates from Aldi with the 'real' branded product, so lets dive right into it! The first comparison I made was between the simple (but underrated) cadburys GIANT buttons (60p),...
